Hunter's passion for reading led him to develop an amazing talent for writing stories

Hunter has always been an avid reader. It was his love for a good story that compelled to write stories of his own. Whether it is a comic book with his friends, a poem or longer prose, Hunter writes continuously .

Pirate Penguin started off as a drawing of a chinstrap penguin from the Natural History Museum. It sparked the idea for a story.

His mum suggested that he used a storyboard framework they'd picked up from the Tate Britain and soon an adventure story started to take shape.

Pirate Penguin is a story with hope, heart and humour that covers the feeling of not fitting in, supportive friends and overcoming fears.

Hunter enjoys reading, swimming and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his school friends.

You can usually find him climbing a tree, creating interesting machines with Lego or drawing up his next D&D strategy.
